READING SUPPORT FOR SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN
A parent doesn't consider the extensive process of learning to read until they start to teach their own children. Learning to read is a complex process that requires explicit teaching of various literacy skills and strategies.
Learning to read is not a simple process to learn and it can often result in a negative experience for the children who are struggling. If a child begins their reading journey with a negative experience they are more likely to struggle with reading concepts.
As experienced early years learning and development therapists, we can explicitly teach your child the skills and strategies that they require to be successful. We use an evidence-based learning approach using systematic synthetic phonics. With a step-by-step progression, the child will succeed at each level before moving on to the next. Building lifelong knowledge, reading strategies and confidence to become a fluent reader.

Before enrolling in our reading program, your child will attend an essential screening session with your teacher. Children are grouped according to their skills and reading ability, not their age. With a maximum of 4 children per group.

Individual screening session - $65
(required prior to starting)
Each primary reading session - $55
Annual fee for workbook pack - $15
Class frequency: 1 session per week school term time.
Opportunities to do make up lessons will be available during the school holidays.
